Dr. Jack Kolenda is a globally renowned facial plastic surgeon based in Canada. His journey in medicine began early, inspired by a passion for surgery. Starting his undergraduate degree in 1989, he pursued molecular biology and conducted significant research in molecular genetics and thyroid cancer. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1996 and completed a residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, focusing on the complex anatomy and diverse surgical procedures of the head and neck.
For the past two decades, Dr. Kolenda has served as the Medical Director of Verso Surgery Centre in Oakville, Ontario, pioneering innovative techniques and attracting a diverse international clientele from around the globe. His collaboration with the University of Bangkok and his role as an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto underscore his influence and dedication to advancing plastic surgery.
Dr. Kolenda’s extensive research, innovative contributions, and commitment to patient care have solidified his reputation as a leading figure in the field, making significant strides in facial plastic surgery both in Canada and globally.

DR ROBERTO TUTINO
BODY PLASTIC SURGEON
Dr. Tutino is a Lecturer in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto. He is currently an active staff at Trillium Health Partners where he is spearheading the Breast Reconstructive Surgery Program. Dr. Tutino graduated from McMaster University medical school in 2008. He then completed a five year residency program at the University of Toronto in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Sean Rice is a renowned Plastic and Cosmetic
Surgeon widely recognized for his published articles in
Canadian and international medical journals.
Dr. Rice is the creator of the LIQUID BUTT LIFT (TM

used to temporarily augment the shape and volume of the

For the past 10 years, she has been diligently pouring her heart and soul into developing Verso’s facial aesthetic and surgical practice, and she loves every minute of it. Anne manages the day-to-day operations while her busy husband perfects the medical and surgical details which are his specialty. Veronica Pascu is our senior medical esthetician. She is incredibly passionate and experienced as a cosmetic surgery consultant, and in all areas of esthetic treatment, but her specialty is laser technology and IPL. Veronica’s patients sometimes refer to her as the queen of IPL, C02 and laser hair removal! With over 17 years of practice experience in her field, she’s also an expert Laser trainer and supervisor. Veronica draws on her business degree and Medical Aesthetic International Diploma to guide her practice, teaching, and to help her clients reveal their natural beauty while building confidence. INFECTION CONTROL & PREVENTION SPECIALIST
Ina Belu is an integral part of the team and key to maintaining our exceptional levels of safety and service excellence. She is an infection control and prevention specialist nurse who partners with us on a regular basis and we’re thrilled to have her expertise inform not only the creation and planning of our facility but the consistent, safe management of a practice that not only meets but exceeds medical standards. Through providing annual staff seminars and re-training, she helps to keep us all on our toes, with the most up-to-date practices and information. Verso Surgery Centre is unparalleled in cleanliness and professionalism, in part because Dr Kolenda will accept nothing less.
MELISSA MCFADDEN
LICENSED AUDIOLOGIST
Melissa McFadden, Hons. B.Sc., M.Sc. (Audiology), Reg. CASLPO is a Licensed Audiologist and owner of the Halton Hearing Centre. She has worked closely with Dr. Kolenda since 2006. As Dr. Kolenda is a world-renown Head & Neck Surgeon, she is the friendly face patients see when they are scheduled for hearing assessments, eustachian tube dysfunction testing, and hearing technology consultations. She specializes in discreet premium hearing aid technology, and she is always working to further her knowledge about best practices and product advancements to provide the best recommendations and patient care.
She is an avid baker who is known for her coconut cupcakes and carrot cake (Verso staff favorites!). When she is not at work, she is spending time with her fur-baby, a Havanese named Sadie.
CZARINA MATIAS
NURSE INJECTOR
Czarina is our surgical concierge and cosmetic nurse injector with over 8 years of industry experience. She’s incredibly passionate about helping patients look and feel their best and provides an individualized approach to treating patients through cutting edge non-surgical methods. She will be with you every step of the way during your surgical journey and walk you through the process from start to finish. With such a hardworking and compassionate team member on board, you can be assured that you are in the best of hands. Czarina spends her free time with her family, reading books, and cooking.
NATALIA WROBEL
NURSE INJECTOR
Natalia is a Registered Practical Nurse whose worked in various clinical settings where she has specialized training. She has completed her advanced cardiac life support training (ACLS), Advanced Master Injector Certification and recently completed her Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) certification.
Natalia is a driven nurse with a relentless eye to detail. Her experience allows her to excel in her role providing the best care possible for our patients. Her goal is to always provide a safe, compassionate and positive experience.
She ensures the operating room runs smoothly and efficiently along with daily clinic operations. When not in the operating room, Natalia sees patients for injectables where she determines an aesthetic goal to help achieve a desired outcome.
Aside from nursing, Natalia enjoys spending her time with her hubby traveling and exploring the outdoors, trying to stay as active as possible!
KELLY AVALOS
NURSE INJECTOR
Nurse Kelly is known for her calm demeanour, gentle touch, and attention to detail. She has been in the cosmetic industry for over 7 years and has developed her skills and knowledge through her background in dermatology and medical aesthetics. Nurse Kelly enjoys the connection she makes with her clients and strives to be there with them throughout their Esthetics journey. Her years of knowledge bring a high level of expertise to the clinic. Her passion lies in enhancing your natural beauty to give you the confidence you deserve. She loves nature and spending time with her family and Goldendoodle Nala. As always, she is looking forward to meeting you!
NEDINE UWEIS
CLINIC MANAGER
Nedine is a certified MDR Technician and Phlebotomist. She has been with Verso Surgery Centre for over 4 years and she is the face you will see when scheduling your surgery with Dr. Kolenda. Her goal is to make every patient’s surgical journey as comfortable and easy as possible. Her favourite part of the job is working with a genuine team that has turned into her second family. When she’s not in the clinic helping patients, you can find her at the gym or with her instant pot.
JOHN FABROS
CO-EXECUTIVE PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT
After working in various clinics in the cosmetic industry, John joins the team with the goal of improving all aspects of the clinic including patient experience. John’s self motivated and success driven personality allows the clinic to constantly grow and adapt to the latest trends and advancements in aesthetic medicine. John works closely with the Business and Medical directors to help develop and oversee various initiatives to facilitate business growth and opportunities. John brings a fun and energetic presence to the clinic which can be seen on our social media. He loves creating strong patient relationships with his genuine and attentive demeanor. In his spare time, John enjoys baking and getting pampered at the spa.
NICOLE O'LEARY
MEDICAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Nicole joins the team with over 13 years of experience as a medical administrator. She graduated her Medical Office Administrator program in 2009 with honours. She is likely to be your first point of contact when booking an appointment. Nicole was born in the small town of Fox Harbour in Newfoundland. She has two amazing children who she can be found with any time she is not at work. Her hobbies include watching hockey and baseball.
